Office partitions maximise your usable office space!

We offer a full range of office partitioning, office walling and movable walls to meet specific requirements for your workplace and work within your budget.

Office partitions are perfect for dividing work areas to provide a spacious and practical workplace. We provide office partitioning solutions that meet the needs of all working environments.

Our experienced space planners intelligently use office partitioning to give the appearance of increased space and height, often softening large open areas. Our team can help you make the right choice to compliment your existing office environment; utilising different styles, colours and types of office partition.

Office partitioning usually starts with an aluminium frame, which can be powder-coated in any RAL or BS colour, or left with a satin anodised brushed finish. The wall areas are often plasterboard, however we can provide solid walls where required or modular glass can be included to full or half height.

Plasterboard walls can be covered in a vinyl wall covering or finished in Paint. Vinyl on walls creates a clean wipe-able surface, or it can be used to create a visually stimulating environment.

We provide office interior solutions to:

  • Whatever your workspace is or will be used for
  • The available finishes to you office partition such as timber veneer, glass, vinyl, steel or MFC (melamine faced composite)
  • Incorporating the finish of doors into the office partitioning, such as timber veneer, glass, steel, or laminate
  • When choosing the type of partitioning, Fire performance may be a serious consideration.
  • If you are in need of an acoustic solution, we can provide enhanced sound proofing through our knowledge of what materials and office partition systems will work better than others, providing the optimum solution and incorporating an element of privacy should you so wish.
  • Strength. In certain situations, for example in factories, warehouses and studios, extra strong partitioning may be required.
  • Should you need to relocate your partition at a future date we can take this into consideration and provide you with the different options available.
  • Timescale of project can often be the deciding factor on the options available. Some types of office partitioning are more time consuming to install than others, and our expertise allows us to inform you at the start of the project whilst at the planning stage, ensuring we deliver on time and to budget.

If sound transfer is an issue, we can deliver the solution.

Solid walls are generally quite simple to install to a high degree of privacy, the main areas that cause problems with sound are glazing and doors. We have been fitting double glazed partitions, with blinds to cavity, with one layer Acoustic glass, one layer laminated glass, and this often provides a fantastic solution to most clients. This can ensure a reduction of up to 52db. In glazed applications with glass doors required we can install double glazed frameless doors. If solid timber doors are required we can install recessed drop down seals under the door to suppress any noise issues.

If existing walls are an issue we have materials we can use to add sound reduction properties, gaining up to 36db to the existing wall performance.

  • Anti-microbial performance. In healthcare settings such as hospitals and commercial kitchens we understand that control of bio-contamination is essential.
  • Air quality. In clean room environments se can reduce and limit the number of airborne particles through providing the correct choice of ceiling.

RAP office interiors can provide and install close control systems as well as traditional DX air conditioning systems. These systems enable the client to keep temperatures within tight parameters.

Close control systems are most frequently used within large communications rooms/ centres.

Office air conditioning & Evaporative cooling systems

For full office evaporative cooling systems and air conditioning precise control of the internal environmental temperature and humidity levels are required all year round despite of external conditions.

Climate Control or Comfort Cooling with or without Heat Pumps is to provide control of the internal environmental temperature alone (excluding humidity control) regardless of the external ambient conditions all year round.

2-way cassette Incorporating the latest fan technology, these units are now quieter than ever, while remaining remarkably compact. Ideal for office air conditioning or for evaporative cooling systems.

Ceiling. These attractively styled units are ideal for office evaporative cooling systems and rooms without ceiling voids and can be fitted to any normal ceiling. Where a small ceiling void exists, the unit can be semi-recessed, making it even more unobtrusive

4-way cassette Incorporating the latest fan technology, these units are now quieter than ever, while remaining remarkably compact and an appealing design for office evaporative cooling systems.

Wall. These extremely compact and quiet units are suitable for a whole range of residential and light evaporative cooling systems applications, such as smaller offices, boutiques or doctors' and dentists' surgeries. They have their own matched outdoor unit and are supplied as complete evaporative cooling systems.

Evaporative Cooling

Evaporative cooling systems have been inspired from the natural process of a sea breeze. By this evaporation process the air is cooled to become a refreshing breeze, producing a source of clean, fresh and healthy air. Evaporative cooling systems provide a constant flow of cool, natural, clean, fresh air without the need to use gases harmful to the environment (CFC’s ect).

  • Introduces 100% filtered, fresh and cool air from outside.
  • Doors and windows can stay open unlike fully air conditioned spaces
  • Maintains some moisture in the air, particularly beneficial to those people who suffer from allergies and asthma
  • Reduces fumes, particles in suspension and odours.
  • Cooling capacity efficiency is increased as the ambient temperature rises
  • Low power consumption and operating costs, up to 80% more economical than conventional air conditioning equipment.
  • Reduces static electricity

Normally these types of evaporative cooling systems are around 20-25% of the capital cost of air conditioning.

For large factories, industrial complexes, printing works, plastics and textile industries, farms, industrials and glass houses, factory units, foundries and bakeries ect. Evaporative cooling systems are the perfect solution.

Depending on the size of the project, evaporative cooling systems are fitted to the exterior of the building either on the roof, the side walls or at ground level.

A system of duct work and air diffusers is then used to introduce the cool air precisely where it is needed.

Testimonials

The recent fit-out of our new city office was RAP’s second commission for P-Solve, the first being the refurbishment of the Jermyn Street 4th Floor, both projects were completed on time and on budget. However, critically, I found that it was Rick Anderson, RAP’s Managing Director, who was the real value add. He was fully engaged in the entire project process, from high quality weekly progress updates to attendance at weekly project progress conference calls with all the other project deliverers. He has a clear objective to understand and define clients’ requirements from the outset but remained responsive to those inevitable changes which always materialise. The quality of workmanship was very high, in the main, due to RAPs network of approved contractors.

- Jonathan Lipton - P-Solve

Rap spoke to us in a language we could understand – that would improve our business operation

- Kevin Snell - TIETO

The team bent over backwards to help us have our Furniture installation date brought forward without any fuss

- Jackie ford - Grenco

What we like about RAP is they do exactly what they say on the tin

- David Clapham - Capital Space

When we involve RAP in our projects we get the A team

- John Hawkins - Valad Benchmark

A tight program completed to my client's entire satisfaction.

- Will Stewart - Stephens Macquire

Love it ! completed in record time to my high standards!

- Annie Lucas - Lucas Hairdressing

The team at RAP have been absolutely rock solid. We have asked a lot of them however nothing was too much trouble - they are always happy to help. Amongst the lumps of coal in the building industry, RAP is an absolute diamond!

- Tara Vickers - AEG

I have found the standard of high quality is embedded throughout the business

- Ian Nelthorpe - Swan Housing

Family Mosaic work with RAP Office Contracts and what we appreciate the most about the way they work is the understanding they have of housing associations needs.

- Tina Alderman - Family Mosiac

We have been very pleased with RAP and the services you have provided for the hospice.

- Mel Burgess - Heart of Kent Hospice

We are very happy to introduce RAP to our clients because they have the same high standards as our company. They are friendly, reliable, reactive and help our clients achieve the best workplace interiors. This helps us sell and let office space more easily. Both our companies have commitment to service at the top of our list.

- Mike Lewis - Michael Rogers LLP

The golf day – a joint venture for RAP with Sport Business Network – at Broke Hill Golf Course saw 62 players with varying handicaps raise money for CACT. The financial results are still being collated but the day was a huge success for networking and taking a day out of the office for a good cause.
